Alessio Castellacci

Alessio Castellacci is an Italian voice artist and facilitator based between Berlin, Prague and Rome.
His methodology, Embodied Voice Flow, evolves at the intersection of somatic movement practices, vocal improvisation, ecological and psychotherapeutic approaches. Through this work, he explores how voice can become a bridge between body, awareness, and environment — a practice of listening, expression, connection, and community building.

Since 2005 Alessio has been teaching, composing music and performing internationally, creating with Irena Z. Tomazin the World is Sound, a Berlin-based platform that offers workshops, retreats, and individual mentoring in embodied voice work and singing practices.

Embodied Voice Flow from voice somatics to singing improvisation.

Embodied Voice Flow is a vocal journey that invites you to rediscover an intimate, empowered relationship with your voice — as vibration, movement, presence, and musicality.

Each day begins with gentle bodywork and deep listening practices to awaken perception and connect with the primal voice. Through touch, breath, and awareness, we explore how sound moves through the body and how the voice can become a tactile, sensory experience.

Once we connect with the vibrational essence of the voice, we begin to explore different types of impulses, playing intuitively with rhythm, articulation, and resonance. Participants are guided to create spontaneous melodies and percussive patterns emerging from these subtle inner rhythms.

In the second part of the session we gradually move toward spontaneous singing, bridging somatic work with vocal music.
We explore different ways of organizing these impulses into simple melodic forms and rhythms, allowing the voice to shape itself in relation to others.

From here we enter the basics of Collaborative Vocal Improvisation: looping, layering, supporting, variating to interact musically with the others. Attention shifts between inner sensation and collective sound. You learn how to remain within your own experience while participating in a shared musical field, with a focus on deep listening and clarity of communication. Out of this, collective sound  journeys emerge. These shared compositions become a space of connection, story, and communal presence — music arising in the moment.

The workshop is open to all levels. No previous vocal or musical experience is required — only curiosity, presence, and the pleasure of exploring sound together.
