PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE WILL BE IN ENGLISH.

Join internationally acclaimed voice teacher Neil Semer for a five-day deep-dive into voice technique and control.

The course will begin with a group session where questions and open discussion is encouraged. Participants will work on body awareness, alignment, breathing, tongue agility and release, open throat, line, passaggio et. al.

Following the group session, each singer will have thirty minutes for individual work on technique and repertoire. Participants will be asked to bring at least four different songs or arias in order to widen the choices for direction of the work. Musical theatre professionals can bring “legit” musical theatre and/or belting pieces as well.

Technique (both classical and belt) will be discussed and worked on scientifically, emotionally and experientially and applied to music-making and storytelling. Simultaneously, tools will be presented to help each singer stay present in their body, emotions and imagination, while bettering their relationship with  their inner critic.

A lively atmosphere of questions, discussion and risk taking is strongly encouraged. Video or audio recording of sessions is also encouraged (but not required).
